Cheshire East Play Days Funded by Cheshire East County Council We host a range of activities at these events including a range of crafts, ceramics, T- shirts and face painting Dane Housing On-going Community Art and Craft Offer As well as the annual Children's Christmas Parties and Allotment Crafts we host for Dane Housing, Splat also provides Play Day Parties throughout the year. Activities at these events include games, crafts, banner-making, ceramics, T-shirt stencilling, Street Crafts (lanterns, ceramic plates, mugs and bowls), tile painting for murals, pot painting and planting up seeds and Carnival Masks. National Lottery Play Days Funded by the National Lottery We host a range of activities at these events including a range of crafts, ceramics, T- shirts and face painting. Bromley Farm Community Group 160 foot Story Wall Mural Working with a local youth group, over 8 weeks, the Splat Team worked with a range of children of all ages and abilities to create a story wall depicting the history of Congleton - past present and future. NADFAS (National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies) School project in association with NADFAS and renowned Cheshire Artist, Patricia Lee A group of Year 6 children attended a lunchtime club over the course of a term to help create an Outdoor Storytelling Throne and Listening Seats using mosaics and painted tiles. Holmes Chapel Primary School School Academy Days Splat has run 'ACADEMY' mornings in school to help promote creativity within the curriculum. Projects have included making button jewellery, pirate craft, mask making, Christmas card making and 'Top Gear' Academies. Healthy Eating Awareness Campaign As part of the government's Healthy Eating initiative, Splat was invited to work with pupils on a fabric collage to help raise awareness of the '5 A Day' message within school. Heath View Care Homes Working with a group of Over 60s The Splat team works with a mixed ability group of over 60s hosting a range of inspiring and creative tasks that include ceramics, porcelain, glass painting, jewellery making, cards, watercolour, painting by numbers, cross stitching and tapestry. One World Charity Awareness Event Splat took part in an awareness-raising event and delivered a project whereby people of all ages could paint a tile that would make up part of a giant mural. Orange Grove Fostercare Family Fun Day Splat hosted summer crafts, party games and facepainting at the Orange Grove Fostercare Fun Day. The Redstone Centre Open Day Splat was invited along as the official, professional Facepainting team at the annual Open Day. Abzorbed Entertainment: The UK's premier entertainment provider Community and Corporate Events Splat have hosted art and craft events, and been the 'official' face painters at a number of 'Abzorbed' events. Alsager Partnership Christmas Fair Crafts Children and parents were invited to decorate ceramic tree decorations and lanterns. Allostock Youth Club (Juniors and Seniors) Evening Craft Sessions The young people were giving the opportunity to paint ceramics and create their own designs on t-shirts Beavers The Holmes Chapel Beavers tried their hands at Jewellery making and t-shirt stencilling. Cubs The Holmes Chapel Cubs enjoyed a night of Christmas Crafts and making musical instruments. Brownies The children took part in Jewellery making, t-shirt stencilling and banner making.
